Discover your Contacts' Social Networks

Salestrakr automatically discovers what social networks your contacts participate in. It uses the email addresses you enter for your contacts to see if any of those addresses are linked to an account on one of the following social networks: LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, Hi5, Beb, Ringo, Multiplyo and Yahoo360. You don't have to do anything, this happens in the background.

An icon will appear in your contact's business card. Click on the icon to go to their social network page. This is a great way to better understand and connect to both your personal and business contacts.

     

Going Mobile!

Salestrakr provides sales and marketing pros an easy way to find and manage contacts, calendars, tasks  and sales opportunities (and more of course.)  And of course, the computer screen provides all the space you need to manage all of these.  However, the computer isn't always available.  So, today we announce the availability of our updated mobile interface.  It's really simple.  Just go to http://m.salestrakr.com and login.  Immediately you have access to all of your contacts and calendar entries.  We could have over-architected this.  But, our goal wasn't to boil the ocean.  We just wanted to keep you tethered to Salestrakr no matter where you are.

So, where are we going with this?  I am a big fan of the facebook application on my Blackberry.  I also like many of the iPhone applications.  So, we are looking at the phone clients too.  However, both of these phone have good client applications for basic contact and calendar management.  Perhaps the best move is to provide an auto synchronization between these phones and Salestrakr allowing you to make changes no matter what device you use and see those changes on the other medium.  Let us know what you think.
